# LinkedIn Playbook

- **LinkedIN Setup:**

As Factorial enters a new AI era, your LinkedIn profile should reflect the new positioning: **“The AI that knows, connects, and unlocks your company’s potential.”**

### **1. Make your headline value-driven**

Move beyond generic titles like Sales Development Representative | HR Software | SaaS and communicate the business value you bring.

**Examples:**

- Helping companies unlock their potential with AI
- Connecting people, data & workflows with AI
- Helping companies work smarter with AI-powered solutions
- The AI that knows, connects & unlocks your company’s potential

### **2. Make it human**

Add a personal touch to your profile—an emoji, interest, or passion—to make your profile more approachable and create opportunities for genuine conversations.

### **3. Reflect the new positioning in your job title**

Where appropriate, consider a title that highlights your consultative and AI-focused role, such as:

- **AI Business Consultant**
- **AI Business Solutions Consultant**
- **HR & AI Solutions Consultant**

The goal is to move from **“selling HR software”** to positioning yourself as someone who helps companies **understand and unlock the value of AI across their business.**

- **LinkedIN Outreach**

After making a call to a prospect, and while enrolling them in one of our email sequences, we also send them a **LinkedIn connection request**. We always do this — whether they answered our call and we agreed on next steps (to have an additional channel to follow up if they stop responding), or whether they did not answer our call.

Here are the [LinkedIn Sequences](https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1YIGNY7bAPObdee--Ju_QH-YjHdf5u6nV) by Deal / Lead source, which you can use as a guide to follow up with a prospect after they accept your LinkedIn connection request:

- [Outbound LinkedIn Sequence](https://docs.google.com/document/d/1C6k0rH8FExVn1Xyd2T-IepCnZq-UKbXDx2guPuGyGdk/edit?tab=t.0#heading=h.obqnn0fjmkgw)

The sequences consist of a LinkedIn connection request + 4 LinkedIn follow-up messages, together with the suggested timing for sending each message.

In the document, you will find best practices for responding to the connection request acceptance, the first message, and the 4 follow-up messages to send if the prospect does not respond. Once the prospect replies, manage the conversation in a personalized way, adapting it to their context to agree on a call or demo.

 Non-negotiable LinkedIn Rules

- LinkedIn is a social network — use it like one
- Keep it informal.
- Keep messages short.
- Write everything in 1 line / paragraph (no separate paragraphs).
- Zero direct selling *(especially in the connection request and first message).*
- Make it about them — more “you” and less “I” or “we”.
- Use basic, simple language — keep it simple and avoid abbreviations.
- Absolutely no filler or empty words — before sending, review the message and remove anything unnecessary.
- Soft CTA — ask about their interest instead of suggesting a meeting *(in the first message).*
